Actomed product pages are written primarily for healthcare professionals and clinic teams. Public access does not turn professional information into patient-specific guidance.
Two regulatory roles
Actomed holds two different roles, and they are not the same thing. For ChondroFiller, Actomed is the UK Responsible Person; the manufacturer is Meidrix Biomedicals GmbH. As UK Responsible Person, Actomed is accountable to the MHRA for labelling, traceability and vigilance reporting on the UK market. For Mytocel MSK, Actomed is the exclusive UK supplier; the manufacturer is Human Brain Wave srl, part of the Remedi group. As supplier, Actomed is the importer and distributor, not the UK Responsible Person, for that product.
Current documents take precedence
Professionals should use the current instructions for use, manufacturer material, training documentation and applicable regulatory information for the relevant product, territory and date.
Indications, contraindications and warnings
Website summaries must not be used to expand an approved intended use or omit contraindications, warnings, precautions or competency requirements. Current approved product documentation remains authoritative.
General wellness products
Not every product Actomed supplies is a medical device. The Regen Pod is a general wellness device. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease, and does not replace professional medical advice. Venues should present it to clients as a wellness service and apply the manufacturer’s pre-screening guidance before use.
Evidence
Evidence summaries identify study design and limitations. A report of an outcome in a small uncontrolled cohort is not proof that the same outcome will occur for another population or in routine practice.
No patient information
Do not send patient names, records, images or identifiable health information through general Actomed enquiry routes.
Urgent or patient-specific concerns
Patients should contact an appropriate healthcare professional. For urgent medical concerns, use the relevant local emergency service. Actomed’s general website contact route is not monitored as an emergency clinical service.
